The Gateway Team decided it was time for a trip across the pond to the beautiful city of London for our annual familiarization trip. There have been several new hotel openings in the past few years and many of the tried and true establishments have undergone major renovations and refurbishments. Sixteen of us set off on an action packed weekend to experience and inspect twelve incredible Virtuoso properties.
Our hosts were more than hospitable and extremely generous, treating us to some of the finest dining and lodging available in the city. We found that each hotel, unique in its own way, offers visitors a different London experience, from style of décor to amenities to location. In between hotel inspections and afternoon tea, we took a fantastic city tour led by NoteWorthy, a Virtuoso on-site. With their relationships and expert knowledge of London, they are able to arrange interesting private tours for our clients.
The weekend was a tremendous learning experience for us all and we’re ready to put this knowledge to good use in planning your next trip to London!
